Nowadays, media files are everywhere and more and more people are using them. But in order to play a certain media file type, you need an adequate player. HUPlayer is a Windows application which has an interface similar to Windows Media Player, but supports many more file formats than this one, and even video DVDs. HUPlayer is compatible with common playlist files and allows creating music or video playlists from scratch and saving them as playlist files, so they can be reused in other similar programs. Video files can also have subtitles displayed, as HUPlayer is compatible with the most used subtitle formats.

The interface of the software makes it easy to play, stop or skip to the next media file. Besides that, it supports various skins which resemble interfaces from other well known media players. Besides that, the program can work with external decoders and filters, like ffmpeg. Furthermore, it can be configured to turn off the computer automatically after a file or playlist is finished playing. This will allow you to fall asleep on your favorite songs or video clips.
